One of the most convenient parts of digital planning is being able to access my planner on any of my main devices. I digital plan using the Goodnotes app. The app is only available on IOS devices but there are plenty of other apps, like Xodo, that work universally on any other device. I access my digital planner on my tablet, computer, and phone.
I first downloaded the app to all my devices and then turned the setting to sync my documents to iCloud on.
To set up iCloud sync for GoodNotes:
- Sign into the same Apple ID
- Open the Settings app on your iOS / iPadOS devices, go to Apple ID > iCloud, and make sure **both** "iCloud Drive" and "GoodNotes" are enabled.
- On macOS, open System Preferences > iCloud, enable "iCloud Drive". Click on Options... next to "iCloud Drive" and also enable "GoodNotes" in the list.
- Open GoodNotes, tap the Gear icon in the top-right corner of the Library view > Settings > iCloud Settings and enable "Use iCloud."
And there you have it. This is how I am able to digital plan on all my devices. Happy Planning!
